ADORNED BROOD - show at BTF!

After their impressive show at Black Troll Festival 2009, the praised gig at Wacken Open Air and numerous successful headliner shows, ADORNED BROOD will again be guests at this year's festival.

While they're already in the studio in summer to record their new album, they'll take a break to exclusively show the black trolls their brand new songs live!

Tarabas are part of the BTF!

Another act playing in 2010 are the guys of Tarabas!

With their new album "Das neue Land" they will enter the castle stage in Bornstedt for the second time and lead the audience onto a journey through long lost times with their melodic pagan-death metal.

The second album of the band narrates stories of old times, this time more powerful, hungry for battles and modern, to befall the country with full force.

A must-see for everyone who still worship the gods of steel.

Their new album will be released on 26th of February and will be available in a limited (to 111 pieces) metal box incl. t-shirt and autograph!

Ignis Fatuu - Medieval Rock!

Playing ambitious medieval-rock nowadays, far away from well-known bands that influenced the scene, is no easy task to perform. Neither is it to create something new! Ignis Fatuu manage the balancing act in their own special way:

The band knows how to include medieval melodies in modern sounds and to compose their very own music.

Influenced by punk, but also the driving hardrock of the late 80s and early 90s, the band fascinates the audience at all times.

Their program so many-sided that there is something for every taste, from soft ballads to fast rocksongs, up to heavy metalsounds.

Their long-awaited debut album "Es Werde Licht" was released in November 2009. One thing is sure: This band is a must-see for everyone who is into handmade medieval rock!

In 2003 WOLFCHANT started to prove that the proverbial "metal hammer" is not only a Scandinavian thing. Extreme metal combined with timeless melodies, driving riffs followed by epic parts and agressive screams, mixed with choires - that's what awaits the visitors!

Especially with their latest release "Determined Damnation" the quintet are on top of the German viking/pagan metal scene.

Next Band: Northland from Spain!

Today we have the glad challenge to advertise you the new pagan-/viking- metal band NORTHLAND for
the summer festival 2010.

The formation, which is in spaine on of the heir to the throne from Ensiferum, are going to go into the studio, to produce their official debut album, and they will conquer the world by storm in the spring time. Who digs on high melodical stuff like the style of Ensiferum, Equilibrium or Turisas, than you can´t resist this troup with violinist!!

The Gauls are coming!

We are pleased to announce the next band. The French "Celtic War Metal" band BRAN BARR will play at the Black Troll Festival 2010!

Only very few of you will be her 2000 debut album "Les Chroniques De Naerger" have in possession, which was brave of the band then released on their own. This Celtic Folk (black) metal band was founded in 1995. They worked over the years until today a very headstrong, primarily furious and partially emphasizes aesthetic style, which is strongly influenced by the Irishman Cruachan - echoes of the folk side of Eluveitie are sometimes heard here also to ... Bran Barr renounce artificial keyboard sounds and build on bagpipes and flutes to the viewer / listener during live performances under their spell pull!

The long-awaited new CD entitled "Sidhe" will be published in February 2010!

Fejd out - Fjoergyn in!

Swedish band Fejd cancelled the Black Troll Fest. The reason is that they play at a bigger festival a few weeks before and they are not allowed to play in the same area again during this time...

But we have new bands also! FJOERGYN - which are back from their great tour with Dornenreich and AHAB, will play again next year with a special light and fire show!
